Kaleden Seniors Committee
The Kaleden Seniors Committee (KSC) was formed in 2015 to implement a New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) grant. Since receiving that grant, KSC has received seven subsequent grants from NHSP, totalling over $150,000.00. Grants have also been received from FortisBC, RDOS Community Grant in Aid and Community Foundation of the South Okanagan-Similkameen Small Grant Program.
These grants have been used to initiate and support a number of programs and events, purchase equipment and supplies, as well as support renovations at the Kaleden Community Hall and create storage space at Pioneer Park.
